Winners Find A Way
Don’t you just love the word winner? I associate winner with champions, medalists, achievers and success.
Winners are persistent, determined, and filled with the “I won’t be denied” attitude. Winners are willing to sacrifice. They fight through pain and resistance to achieve the prize – their goal, their achievement, the end result.
Is this attitude persistence and determination easy to maintain? The majority of winners will answer no. It takes due diligence in many areas starting with mindset. Winners keep their mindset in check with their goals and vision. They keep that at the forefront of their mind.
Yes, winners experience challenges. Yes, winners may go through some GAP times – those dark times. Yes, winners experience emotional turmoil.
The big difference is winners find a way. Winners see those challenges as a stepping stone for something bigger. Winners pass through the GAP as quickly as possible.
Winners practice emotional stability. Regardless of the situation, they maintain a neutral level. The highs are low and the lows are high.
You deserve to win! You are a WINNER!!!
I Dare You To Find A Way!
To Your Abundant Success,
Be Selective in Who You Fly With
The people you surround yourself with will have a significant impact on where you are and where you want to go. There are many people that are positive, empowering, and uplifting that you deserve to connect with.
Today, I want to address the negative people that come into our lives. We all know at least one “Negative Nellie” or maybe 10. These are the people that see the dark, rather than the light, in everything.
They don’t hesitate to bleed that darkness into your life either, despite the fact that you are not open to it. They want to emotionally sabotage you and suck the life right out of you.
It is your responsibility to let their words and actions pass you by. The reality of it is they are very disconnected from themselves. These people are chickens, turkeys, and crows.
Let’s think about this for a moment.
What is the flight altitude of a chicken, turkey, or crow?
If you are reading this, I consider you an eagle!! You soar at high altitudes! The chickens, turkeys, and crows can not fly with you. They know better than to attempt a flight at that altitude. They are better off at ground level. But not you!!!
My soaring message is this. You are an eagle. I dare you to bless those chickens, turkeys, and crows in your life and let them go. You are destined to fly higher than you realize!!

Absolute Best Time To Soar
Have you ever spent time getting ready to get ready? It is the same premise as I’ve got to clean the house before the cleaning lady comes. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense does it? Let’s go back to getting ready to get ready which actually boils down to procrastination.
Procrastination is one of those conditions that will keep you grounded or at a very low altitude. It takes you out of focus and off course. Procrastination is one of the evils that will do whatever it takes to keep you stuck.
There is no perfect time to get started because there will always be an unknown factor or circumstance that will just show up. It is important to look past those and focus on the course that you have established.
In this video, I reveal the absolute best time to soar into your greatness. Warning…if you apply this, you may not come back from your flight!
Just do it!! Start immediately and let go of all that is holding you back…especially perfection!
Winners Stay In The Game To Soar
There is something absolutely unique about someone that classifies himself as a winner. Winners have that edge to them…that competitive flair. It doesn’t have to be an athletic endeavor, but I will use that analogy in this post.
Winners require discipline on a consistent basis. The discipline comes from the mindset of “I won’t be denied”. Winners have habits…good habits, daily habits that lead them to the outcome they are seeking.
A few weeks ago, I ran my first half-marathon. That was one of my biggest accomplishments of my life. I was among 8,000 winners. None of the athletes finished half heartedly. We gave our all. Yet for me, it all began 3 1/2 months earlier…
It began with a big dose of discipline. It began with a habitual, regimented daily plan. If I was going to succeed, it was up to me. There were days that I certainly did not want to go out in the cold and run, but guess what? I did it anyway. There were days of hills and speed workouts…they were not at the top of my “favorites”, but I did it anyway. Why you might ask? Because winners stay in the game. Period.
You can not get to where you want to go in life without the discipline of daily habits. You will not soar to the top in mediocrity. Every person has that edge inside, but first you must decide that you won’t be denied. Stay in the game and experience the feeling of accomplishment as you cross the finish line. You are a winner! You can SOAR!
I Dare You To Soar!
Dare You To Soar Through Resistance
Resistance…good ‘ole Webster Dictionary sums up resistance as opposition. Opposition is something that we don’t like in our life and we try, at all costs, to avoid it. Many people perceive resistance as this giant in their life. The giant of opposition.
We all have the ability within us to face that giant head on. We absolutely can defeat the giant! The best way to bring the giant down is to not call attention to it. What exactly do I mean by this?
If you are always focused on the resistance in your life, the giant will continue to gain strength and will bring more resistance into your life. What ever is at the forefront of your mind is exactly what comes to fruition. If you want to weaken the giant, your focus must be on what you want and where you are going to. If you do not fuel the giant, there is no way it can gain or muster the strength that it needs to defeat you. You are the conqueror!!
That being said, it is not what you are going through it is what you are going to. If you are experiencing resistance in your life, just keep on going through it. Don’t stop to give the giant some additional energy. Just pass it by and focus on your end results. In the end, your focus on what you are going to will deplete the giant and you will have one the battle!
Go out there and conquer your giant today! You are amazing!
Will You Self-Sabotage When Faced With Defeat?
Many of us face defeats and failures monthly, weekly, and possibly even daily. A defeat or failure is actually a redirection and offers clarification. However, many people will self-sabotage after experiencing a defeat or failure, thus losing sight of the outcome and goal.
I want to share an experience with you that happened to my husband. He could have easily chosen self-sabotage, but his choice is something we can all learn from.
My husband, Brad, is the girls varsity basketball coach where we live. This is his 12th season as a high school girls coach with this year being his 5th season as the varsity coach. His passion is basketball. He is a fabulous coach because he knows how to teach it and he constantly works to improve himself as a coach. He eagerly shares his knowledge with his coaches, players, and even his own children!
His team is currently half way through their remarkable season. They were undefeated in conference until this past Friday… Their undefeated record came to a halt in the last 30 seconds of the game losing to their rivals by two points. Yes, it was a disappointing, devastating defeat.
The big question was would he allow himself and the girls to self-sabotage?
The answer is a definitive NO!!! At practice on Monday, he reexamined the goals with the team. Did they have an undefeated season as a goal? No. Did they have a goal to beat this team twice in the season? No. When they looked more carefully at their goals, 1. Win conference and 2. Win regionals, they quickly realized that their goals are absolutely obtainable!!!
The focus is to keep these goals at the forefront of their minds and continue to prepare for each upcoming opponent. The past is history.
My message to you today is if you are faced with a defeat or failure of some sort, do not self-sabotage yourself because you perceive yourself to be at a dead end. Use the situation to reexamine your goals and make some modifications. You are never at a dead end. There’s always another road or trail even if you have to blaze it yourself!!
Live Inspired,
Keep Climbing
“Doubt makes the mountain which faith can move.” ~Proverb
Our life is filled with mountains that we encounter. Mountains can be in many forms such as new experiences, something unpleasant, people, and a loss just to name a few.
Mountains appear to be to be so GIGANTIC that they become intimidating. Yet, consider this. The mountain you are facing can absolutely be climbed. You must realize that you do not have to sprint up the mountain. In addition, take some breaks along the way when you need them.
Yes, it can be a struggle and frustrating if you let it be. Have you considered just accepting the mountain and just let it be? Accept the fact that there will always be mountains to climb. At the same time, stay present to the fact that some of those mountains are not even here yet to worry about. Stop wasting your energy on it and just be…
Keep your perspective in check and don’t give up. Your climbs are not going to be perfect. Accept that. Remember perfection is overrated. You don’t have to be the BEST climber, just be the BEST YOU CAN BE. If you did your best that is enough! Accept that!
Keep the faith in yourself and believe in yourself. The amount of faith is extremely small. This comes from the bible:
“Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
You can climb your mountain and move your mountain…keep the faith!!
Find It, Embrace It, Be It, Live It,
P.S. A little inspiration with the lyrics…”It’s the Climb” by Mylee Cyrus.
I can almost see it
That dream I am dreaming
But there’s a voice inside my head saying
“You’ll never reach it”
Every step I’m taking
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking
But I gotta keep trying
Gotta keep my head held high
There’s always gonna be another mountain
I’m always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be a uphill battle
Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose
Ain’t about how fast I get there
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb
The struggles I’m facing
The chances I’m taking
Sometimes might knock me down
But no, I’m not breaking
I may not know it
But these are the moments that
I’m gonna remember most, yeah
Just gotta keep going
And I, I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on
‘Cause there’s always gonna be another mountain
I’m always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be a uphill battle
Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose
Ain’t about how fast I get there
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb, yeah!
There’s always gonna be another mountain
I’m always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Somebody’s gonna have to lose
Ain’t about how fast I get there
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb, yeah!
Keep on moving, keep climbing
Keep the faith, baby
It’s all about, it’s all about the climb
Keep the faith, keep your faith, whoa
